LYS Compass Program
Grow With Purpose And Direction
LYS Compass introduces students to the concepts of values, character, life-skills and purpose they can build on today and expand tomorrow to establish a successful professional career path. Compass inspires the drive for success within students – while assisting them in discovering themselves and their motivations and life-long mission to take action from middle school into their professional careers.
LYS Mentor Program
LYS Mentor Program
Consider this a Career Day revamp. LYS “mentors” are selected from LinkedIn or other local sources according to the significance of their story. This introduces students to the hero and she-ros of their community. These “mentors” share their personal stories of how they succeeded against all odds, cleared the hurdles and challenges in their path to be successful. Students can engage and interact with our LYS Mentors through guided questions to learn more information about their professional career path and the students respective fields of interest. This can be combined with local post-secondary students in similar fields for near-peer interaction.
