There are so many things one can do to make them learn better and faster. For instance, you can engage in mental repetition or create a spur-of-the-moment song about what you want to learn.
Ask yourself some simple questions such as:

- Do they listen to podcasts?
- Are they avid readers?
- Do they enjoy class discussions or debates?
